Online estimate approval lets a customer accept or decline a quote from a link instead of replying by email or phone. With SprigDeal, the customer opens a private estimate page on any device, reviews the scope, line items, total and terms, and chooses accept or decline. The decision is saved to your workspace and you get an email right away.
How does online approval work in SprigDeal?
- Share the estimate. SprigDeal emails the customer a private link. The link is valid for 30 days and only shows the current version of the estimate.
- The customer reviews it. The estimate page is designed for phones as well as desktops. Opening it marks the estimate as viewed in your pipeline.
- The customer decides. One tap to accept or decline. Final decisions lock the estimate so the approved version cannot change afterwards.
- You are notified. SprigDeal emails you the decision, updates the estimate status and cancels any pending follow-up.
What the customer sees
- Your business name and contact details.
- Project title, scope description and exclusions.
- Itemized line items with quantities, prices, tax, discount, deposit and total.
- Your terms and the date the estimate is valid until.
- Clear accept and decline buttons, plus a PDF copy.
Privacy by default
Estimate links use long random tokens that cannot be guessed and expire. Sharing a revised estimate revokes earlier links. Because links can be forwarded, the exact project address stays hidden on customer pages and PDFs unless you choose to show it.
Online approval records the customer’s decision; it is not a legally binding electronic signature. If your work requires a signed contract, use your usual contract process after the estimate is accepted.
