Quote follow-up software reminds customers about an estimate they have not answered yet. In SprigDeal, every shared estimate gets one scheduled follow-up email. If the customer has not accepted or declined by the follow-up date, SprigDeal sends a short, polite reminder with a link to the same estimate. If they decide first, the follow-up is cancelled automatically.
How do follow-ups work in SprigDeal?
- You choose the timing. Set a default follow-up delay in your workspace (3 days unless you change it, up to 60). Each estimate can have its own follow-up date.
- SprigDeal schedules it when you share. Sharing an estimate creates the follow-up automatically, so nothing depends on remembering to set a reminder.
- The reminder goes out only if it is still needed. On the due date SprigDeal checks the estimate. If it is still sent or viewed, the customer receives the follow-up email. Replies go to your business email.
- Decisions stop the sequence. If the customer accepts or declines, or the estimate link is no longer valid, the follow-up is cancelled and nothing is sent.
Manual versus automatic follow-up
| Manual reminders | SprigDeal follow-ups | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup per estimate | Calendar note or sticky note | Created automatically when you share |
| Sending | You write and send each message | Sent for you on the due date |
| When the customer decides | You must remember to cancel | Cancelled automatically |
| Visibility | Spread across inbox and phone | One list of upcoming and sent follow-ups |
Why follow up at all?
Many customers who go quiet have not said no. They may be comparing options, waiting on a partner or budget, or simply busy. A single respectful reminder keeps the conversation open without pressure. SprigDeal sends one automatic follow-up per shared estimate rather than a long drip sequence, so customers are not spammed.

Frequently asked questions
When should you follow up on an estimate?
Two to three business days after sending is a common starting point for service work, and SprigDeal defaults to 3 days. Allow longer for large projects or when the customer told you they need more time.
Does SprigDeal send follow-up emails automatically?
Yes. One follow-up email is scheduled for each shared estimate and is sent on the due date if the customer has not accepted or declined yet.
Can customers reply to the follow-up email?
Yes. Follow-up and estimate emails use your business contact email as the reply-to address, so replies reach you directly.
What happens if the customer accepts before the follow-up date?
The follow-up is cancelled automatically and the customer does not receive a reminder.
